The tree is up, Mommy has the lights applied to her standards, and it is time to relinquish control to the children for ornaments. If Lucy had her way, she would put every ornament on the same branch...at the very least on the bottom of the tree where she can keep a close eye out. It’s always fun to take our time trying to remember how all the ornaments came to be in our possession.
This evening we went out into town to get an up close look at the tree in Palmer Square. The square is always really beautiful and looks like a Hallmark card. We extended our stay out among humanity and went to dinner at The Meeting House. The kids (especially Alex) discovered a passion for calamari, Lucy approved of dessert, Gemma approved of the wine...god help us!
