november 30th - #truth

When you can’t go anywhere, you may as well get to that painting project you have been planning. Mommy’s office is undergoing a transformation. Apparently elves are immune to COVID, because Ralph has reappeared for his December check-in on the kids behavior to report back to the big guy.

november 29th - tests

Kids are becoming pros at having strangers stick things up their noses. Sitting in the parking lot at the urgent care on route one brings back vivid memories.

Mommy found a letter that Gemma wrote to Santa Claus trying to explain her bad behavior. So sweet. Her little brain working is just magic.

november 28th - elf lucy

Someone is fired up for the season and very much in the spirit. Spreading joy and not covid. Success.

november 27th - mask up, tree up

Now that Mommy is officially a social outcast, we had the rest of the family tested. You guessed it…gave it to Daddy. Kids are all robots and are still negative. We are also slowly getting news that people who were at friendsgiving are testing positive. We all have our own wall of tracking to find out who is patient zero. Two Burgers, three Drebys, five Angeluccis, and five Schaefers in total…’rona, she’s a bitch. Even though I am infected with a novel virus that has taken the lives of a million people, Mommy still has us driving around town to get a Christmas tree.

november 26th - oh shiiiiiiiit

The COVID reaper has arrived!  Right after making a thanksgiving leftovers pizza and crushing four bottles of champagne, Mommy got a call from the public health department telling her she tested positive for covid four days ago. Thanks a lot…ASSHOLE. The Stone crew had an abrupt goodbye from Princeton and we are now on our own. Dinner for eleven quickly became dinner for five. Gemma masked up:). We had to do a drive by of the tree in Palmer’s Square because we missed the lighting🥲. All crossing our fingers no on else gets it.

november 25th - turkey time

All feeling better and in turkey time spirits. More negative covid tests conducted. Ready for a thanksgiving feast prepared by Beeps and perhaps a couple science experiments. Lots of cousin time and the adults realized that the red couch is too small for four people.

november 24th - diligence

Mommy has taken ten negative tests already and now the testing has expanded to the rest of the family. Still all negative results, so antibiotics are flowing, nyquil is taken around the clock, and everyone has a central line of vitamin c in full effect. Making sure that we can attend Thanksgiving and not kill anyone.

november 23rd - spreading

Mommy is really down for the count and now Daddy is starting to feel crappy. Poop!

november 22nd - thankful

Lucy brought home such a cute holiday traditions poster she made at school. She was so proud. Mommy’s hangover has been extended with some cold like symptoms and she spent very little time vertical.

november 21st - recovery

Tico’s does a body good working off a hangover, but nothing can really replace the sleep. Naps all around today after leftovers.

november 20th - friendsgiving superspreader

First friendsgiving back in action after the pandemic and we had lots of people, lots of food, lots of laughs. Alex had a soccer game, so Grandpa took him up to Hillsborough for a brief recess from the party. He made it back in time to join the fun and hang with ALL the kids.
