We kicked of our morning with some hot cocoa, Christmas music, and a trip to the farm for our tree, which was quickly denied by Mommy’s necessity for having a tree that scrapes the ceiling. The farm still had not unloaded their recent batch and somehow all their trees got covid. So, we went to the farm, to home depot, to the farm, and back to home depot...to purchase a tree that looked suspiciously familiar. Long story short, we got a tree before the kids’ bedtime.
Beeps and Grandpa swung by for a cocktail and to watch the Princeton Palmer Square tree lighting on TV. Different experience, but we were warm in our house with a glass of wine in-hand, and the kids were able to catch a glimpse of the big guy. A smile is a smile, no matter the source!
