Well, it is officially the age of coronavirus in the US. Daddy was told at work today through a CEO communication that BMS is now closed until at least April. The kids schools will have a half day tomorrow and the plan is to go to remote learning beginning on Monday. Holy shitballs. Should be very interesting working full-time and becoming an elementary school teacher.
Tonight we watched as President Dipshit finally announced a national emergency and closed down travel from Europe into the US. As a result of the government’s recent decision to actually get off their asses, major organizations across the country have begun canceling events. The NBA and NHL indefinitely postponed the remainder of their seasons, MLB pushed off the start of baseball for the foreseeable future (Alex is not pleased), March madness was canceled by the NCAA, and a large percentage of Americans were told to abide by social distancing recommendations from the CDC. Basically, we are on house arrest by Monday in our new office/daycare/elementary school. Fun!
