The kids were really excited to wake Mommy up this morning and give her the cards that they made for her for Mothers’ Day. Ha! 4:30am! Daddy let Mommy sleep for a little while, but the kids want what they want. We walked up to a really cool place for brunch called Hampton Social to meet Gramps and Grandmum. Mommy thought it was a really cool place and loved it, with exception of being able to actually eat food. For some reason, Mommy didn’t want her complimentary champagne either.
After brunch, we strolled Michigan Avenue and took the kids up to the observation deck in the Hancock building. They thought it was pretty cool to be on the 94th floor and be able to look out over the city. Gramps and Grandmum said goodbye to get to their flight and we got Mommy home and down for a nap. Total crankster.
We went out for Dim Sum while exploring more of the city on our evening walk and back in time to watch the Sixers lose Game 7 on the luckiest damn buzzer beater shot in the history of the earth.
