Daddy is off from work for a couple days so Alex and Gemma got to play hooky and hit the beach. We had such an awesome day. The kids could have stayed until midnight if Daddy let them. We listened to the Allman Brothers (Gemma’s favorite) with the windows down. We got a great spot near the water, collected shells, swam in the ocean, and had a nice lunch right on ocean ave. The tables were really high so Alex got a high chair. Daddy kept pretending to take pictures of him in it to send to his friends. He was so embarrassed. They both lost their battles with their ice cream cones, but most of it went in their mouths. Winning. Of course, they both passed out for the ride home but it was an amazing day filled with smiles.
