Praise Jesus. We all survived the night of drunken trips to the bathroom while stepping over the Easter Bunny’s treacherous trails throughout the house. Everyone was somewhat displaced to accommodate 11 humans under one roof, but no major bodily injuries. The morning trail journeys were lots of fun for all, but Gemma won the award for most excited this year. The Easter Bunny did an outstanding job as usual, and surprisingly, even the adults don’t know how it happens when we wake up in the morning. Magic.
Lots of coffee and easter bread and then back to our house for brunch. We got a little mid-day relaxation when the kids went down for naps, and had a nice family stroll this evening around the neighborhood.
