We went for a long and treacherous walk along the lakefront with all the kids this morning. It took a good amount of time and lots of energy. Found all the summer’s lost treasures along the way. Once we got to the end, we got to double back on the streets and listen to the littles complain about the hills 😬.
The girls got dressed up this evening to bring in the new year in style. Lots of snacks, fancy drinks, dancing, glow sticks, and more confetti than the adults bargained for…will be finding it for months. All the kids even made their own resolutions…fan favorite was Lucy’s…”eat more gummies.”
