Today started with some wildlife observation at claw & paws across the street from the hideout. I think we were all surprised at the amount of exotic animals they had at their zoo. Alex said, “I thought they were just going to have woods animals.” They had lions, tigers, bears, wolves, etc…not expected. They all got to feed the giraffe before we went back home for a little relaxation…and Gemma meditation…and tie-dye shirt making.
After dinner, we went to Hawley for the local carnival. Lucy LOVED the merry-go-round. She would have taken the horse home if she were allowed. Lots of rides, lots of tickets, the ferris wheel (multiple times for lucy), and funnel cake!
