The kids are officially on their fall break (which we made up), so we headed straight for the lake to get away for a bit. They all spent the morning reviewing their candy haul and making informed trades. Alex must have given Gemma an extra piece of candy so she would help him tie his shoes. We made it up to the lake by around lunchtime and just in time for Mommy to get a jumpstart of Christmas decorating.
