Gemma and Lucy’s bunkbed never arrived while we were at the lake last week. Now that it was delivered and sitting in our driveway (with rain in the forecast), Alex and Daddy were nominated to drive up and deal. Alex helped Daddy put the whole thing together, and then we went out for dinner at Grisham’s Chop House. Great time just talking one on one, which we have not done in so long. Dessert had to be one of the biggest sundaes in the western hemisphere. We got to watch Black Panther without anyone complaining...glorious.
