Sunset dance party on the deck was also a great time watching all the kids bust out their best moves. The champagne was flowing and there was, quite possibly, a child or two that was slightly drunk. Neither of them were driving, so it worked out well. Best day ever.

september 5th - bringing it back (173)
We started off today with a little adventure over to Holiday Park for a challenging traverse of the creek. The kids had a lot of fun and it was cool to watch them work on a buddy system. In the afternoon, we had even more fun throwing our own version of a Hawaiian luau. The neighborhood has been apparently waning on the dedication to the Labor Day themed celebration, so we aimed to single handedly revitalize the energy. Once the boat parade came by, we were ready to represent Roamingwood. Mommy and Aunt Tracey in grass skirts and Daddy and Uncle Todd in coconut bras really took us over the finish line. The little girl and her brother from across the lake that decorated their boat like Moana’s definitely stole the show. Lucy LOVED it. Every time we go by her house now, she points it out and tells us it is where Moana lives...impressive little brain.
