Our closing today was supposed to be 9am, but it got delayed, so Daddy went out and took advantage of the extra time. Started sheathing Gemma’s playhouse roof and walls which was an added bonus for the day. Eventually, the title agent came to our house to finalize the papers, our TV arrived, got it loaded, and on our way to our new place. We could not have packed any more stuff into our car. Mommy followed behind the Penske in a monsoon and we arrived to a somewhat more reasonable rain storm. Picked up the kids McDonalds (their first experience) and slummed it while Mommy and Daddy unpacked the van. The rain did stop long enough for the kids to get down on the dock and take a dip in the lake (bathing suits optional).
