Lucy put on some big girl panties today. Spring break starts next week, so we decided it would be a good time to give potty training a whirl. It lasted for the better part of the morning...it only took one whiz on the floor in front of Mommy for us to say “what the f are we doing to ourselves?” The last thing we need right now is another responsibility or challenge, so for now, peeing your pants is cool. We were also supposed to be on a plane to Mexico today, so screw it.
Daddy made Gemma a wood cut out for her to paint a rainbow to put in our window and put out the vibe to the neighborhood. Kids love it, but Daddy gets some weird looks when watering the grass...mostly men. Took a long walk around the neighborhood and past Gemma’s friend, Zola’s, house. Her parents were prepared with a social distancing apparatus (mostly joking).
