We cannot believe Alex turned 8 today. He is getting so big and the time just doesn’t seem to want to slow down. Although, time slowing down right now during Quarantine is about as slow as it gets. We all jumped in his bed this morning to wish him a happy birthday...Lucy was giving out bear hugs. He got to open presents this morning from everyone who mailed them in, received the eighth and final installment of Beeps’ daily messages, a long bike ride with Mommy, fishing with Daddy and Gemma (she mostly ate snacks), and a Zoom rendezvous with all his favorite people. It was a bit of an atypical birthday this year. He didn’t get to see the Phil’s home opener, but we are pretty sure he will look back on this one for the rest of his life...and smile!
