Lucy had a FaceTime with “her Nick” today and she was really excited. She has missed going to school and seeing her friends and teachers. Mommy decided to make a batch of chocolate chip cookies with the kids to get some sweets in their bloodstream. Mid-baking we got a special delivery from Mommy’s work colleague...a dozen cupcakes from a bakery in Georgetown Cupcakes. We decided to eat those too.
Mommy was upset by the misuse of time. If she knew said cupcakes would arrive, she would not have spent precious minutes on a baking redundancy. Ineffective. Not the Accenture way. This episode may impact her bonus.
