First official day of school being out, so Daddy surprised Gemma with an early pickup to go to the movies. She was very excited to be leaving early and even more excited to see ‘Secret Life of Pets 2’. Lucy is now in training for her transition to Brown Bears toddler room, so she is taking her naps on a cot like a big kid...so damn cute.
Grandmom Burger came over tonight to watch the kids so Mommy and Daddy could go down for Chase Utley’s retirement at the Phillies game. Lots of adult fun with the Drebys and Mongos, and our night ended with us having to barrel roll under a fence to get into our parking lot. I wish I had video footage of Mommy trying to stuff Mike, who is a large American, under the gate for five minutes before realizing we were on a hill. Much more room at the other side of the gate;)
