Lucy loved the turkeys so much last night at Shady Brook that we woke up and decided to take her on her first trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. Alex was recently here for a field trip so he was our guide and Gemma’s mentor on how to read the map. All the animals were a hit for Lucy, but the monkies seemed to stand out as the clear winner. Awesome way to spend fathers’ weekend, seeing the smiles on little faces.
The weather was beautiful and we had a great night for steaks on the grill and a fire to watch while drinking too much rosé. Grandpa had his very first s’more, so it was quite a night.
