It was a great year and cannot believe how quickly it passed. Lucy is back in business just in time to kickoff the new year. We had some breakfast at Lilipies, hit some stores in the shopping center this morning, and then got dressed up to party with the Drebys in Newtown. It was awesome hanging out and watching the kids play all night. The adults had a long list of food courses to keep our booze intake balanced...we cut a few corners by the end of the night. Kids got their own special countdown around 10:30 and all went to bed together. Boys room and girls room was a recipe for disaster, but they were all so tired that it worked. Could not have asked for a better night, with exception of the point when Mommy made an abrupt left turn into the wrong doorway and yard saled down the back staircase. Fortunately, we didn’t have to identify her body at the morgue and she was able to spill herself into bed...with Daddy’s assistance and administration of first aid. Badly bruised coccyx and borderline compound fracture of the elbow should get 2019 off to a perfect start;)
