Gemma starts pre-K and Alex enjoys one last hint of summer. She did so great today starting in her new class as a big girl getting prepped for what is to come next year. Her teachers had her cubby all set up with a new pencil box, she got to be the morning greeter at circle time, and she is with her best bud Ms Helen. When most kids are at nap time, Gemma sits with Ms Helen to have “conversation and M&M’s”...trouble!
Alex and Daddy went for a dudes morning at iPlay America. So much fun going on rides and playing all day with him. We could not be stopped...every game we played we won. At one point we had to take our winnings out to the car because we couldn’t carry it all. He won a giant monkey for Lucy and a giant pineapple for GemGem. On our way home, we met Mommy at the grill for what has become our new “1st day of school eve” lunch...followed by Halo, of course.
Since it was Gemma’s first day today, she got to pick all of our other meals. Apple pancakes for breakfast and she wanted to go to Roots for sushi (aka dumplings).
