After two big nights out, the kids slept in...a little. The weather today was absolutely amazing and everyone had slightly different interpretations of how to take advantage. Daddy and Alex cruised over to New Hope for lunch, a walk around town, ice cream, and a stop in a toy store or two. Had to have a basketball, which Lucy is loving as much as him. Alex loved all the motorcycles in town and being so close to the water. We hung out on the bridge for a while watching the boats pass.
Our girls stayed local and went for a hike/picnic at Mountain Lake. They almost ran into a baby deer...literally, and Gemma was a little startled. Lucy loved getting the breeze and sunshine on her toes.
