Daddy ran the Rock & Roll Philly Half Marathon this morning and lived to tell about it. Mommy was the hero of the day pushing around Alex and Gemma to see Daddy along the course. Not exactly a personal best, but not bad for next to no training these last couple months. At the end, Guster headlined a free concert near the art museum, so Alex and Gemma got to see one of our favorite bands perform. Lots of fun.
We also made it over to our old neighborhood for a late lunch with Chip, Mickey, and Sandi at Hawthorne's...plus a quick visit with RUFUS!!! An awesome day, but we have to find less physically draining excuses to get back to Philly for visits.
