Santa was here! Both the kids slept in this morning and we had to wake them up to go down and see what Santa left behind. Gemma took a little more persuading...she is a diva and does not do mornings. As soon as they came down Alex says "my crane" and Gemma made a b-line for "BAAAABBBYYY!" They were so excited and it was amazing. Gemma quickly realized she also had a new kitchen set from Santa, which she began organizing immediately. They both got more favorite gifts from Mommy and Daddy...Alex got blaze, roller skates, MACK THE TRUCK...Gemma got kitchen gadgets, a bracelet, ARIEL (who had a small run in with the business end of Alex's crane). They both even got a special ice cream truck that they can use to play ice cream man. Santa done good!
Mid-day christmas festivities at Beeps and Grandpa's were filled with laughs and presents...as always. Gemma and Alex got to play with their cousin Ben and open up MORE presents. Gems was really excited about her high chair for her baby doll and warned Ben several times not to touch it. Alex got a new garbage truck and a remote control car that he was fired up about. Both kids got some college money that they will someday appreciate...greatly!
Christmas stop #2 for the day was to Uncle Gary and Aunt Charissa's new house to celebrate with the Burger clan. It was a tornado of wrapping paper with 9 kids tearing into presents. More toys for the kids...more booze for mommy and daddy.
