We finally got around to carving pumpkins, just in time for the big day. In my opinion, the clear winner is Lucy’s Peppa Pig, but personal bias may be playing a role. Lucy and Gemma showed Alex how to gut a pumpkin because he is a little squeamish. We went over to a friends house on Jefferson to hang out before venturing into the neighborhood collecting candy. The kids had a great time and even worked on their charitable giving. When we got back to our friend’s house and they ran out of candy, the kids gave away their own to the trick-or-treaters. Albeit somewhat selectively, but the instincts were there :)
