The Dreby clan came into town late this afternoon in time for a sunset cruise and some cocktails. But, not before we spent the morning on a family paddle and goofing around during dinner. Alex and Kyle…shirtless and in their glory.
august 4th - golf! (506)
Today was the day for all things golf. Daddy took all three kids near Scranton to a driving range to hit balls for a while. They did really well and were putting the balls out there pretty well after a couple buckets. We went into the city for lunch…Lucy got the first crepe and the older kids were not pleased waiting.
This evening, we went to a cool mini golf course in Tafton, which the kids loved. Lucy played something that more closely resembled hockey, but she smiled the whole time. Dinner at The Dock after golf where Alex tallied the scores and determined that Mommy cheated.
august 3rd - poop hole #3 (505)
Our dooty problems continued today with another hole needing to be dug. We were on the verge of going to a hotel for the night when the guys came and told us they solved the problem. Thank god, we now have a properly functioning crapper pipe. We canceled the hotel and took the kids out for dinner to get out of the house. Gresham’s was packed so we put our name on the list and did some tailgating until our table was ready. Alex had a ball, so he could have waited for hours.
august 2nd - back to the lake (504)
Heading back up north to get back to the sunshine. Alex immediately got on the paddleboard for a spin. The weather was amazing today…Mommy got her mandatory sunset.
august 1st - princeton night (503)
The kids helped to clean up some leaves in the yard this afternoon without even asking. They must have missed doing chores at home:). Lucy gave Daddy a haircut and we went out for a really fun dinner at The Meeting House. All the kids were in rare form and we just laughed. Wine helps.
july 31st - celebrating julia & sav (502)
A really hot day back in Princeton so we spent the day at Tommy and Maria’s pool before heading over to Julia and Savannah’s graduation party. The kids were bummed Logan and Lucas were not home, but they still loved swimming.
july 30th - princeton weekend (501)
We spent the morning outside and having breakfast with Gramps and Grandmum before we headed back to Princeton for our only weekend of the summer not sitting by the lake. Lucy was happy with her special delivery backpack and lunchbox for school. Mandatory Conte’s pizza night while we are back…how we missed good pizza!!
july 29th - reflections (500)
Beautiful still morning on the lake made for some pretty cool views. The colder than usual weather continued today so it was mostly puzzles and indoor activities for the kids with Gramps and Grandmum.
july 28th - stocking up (499)
Lucy was a big helper picking out wine so we had a good stash for when Gramps and Grandmum came to visit. We went through a bit too much last weekend, so a resupply was mandatory. This week is starting to feel like fall…way too early!
july 27th - mermaid spotting (498)
The kids went to the beach today with Aishling and Alex made Gemma into a sand mermaid. She loved her tail. We attempted to go to the club for dinner but it was closed…which turned into a second stop at a restaurant that was severely understaffed and then a final call to “let’s just get Rif’s”
