june 20th - father’s day (461)

Daddy got to sleep a little later today, but had a great wake up call from the kids to wish a happy father’s day and they brought presents:). We did a family bike ride and a picnic on campus, which was really nice and relaxing. Somehow Mommy got a nap in while Daddy hung out. Seems odd.

Daddy and Alex were back down at the Wachovia Center tonight for Game 7 and the Sixers let us down again. Again they blew a lead and got bounced out of the playoffs. Ben Simmons sucks.

june 19th - more friend fun (460)

We visited Mark and Peggy’s new house in South Jersey today to catch up and hang with some friends. Alex really loved the virtual reality headset and Lucy was really excited to see Emmie.

june 18th - daddy daycare (459)

We had the chance to stop in to the kids’ school today so we could catch a glimpse of Alex’s class mural commemorating the year of remote learning. It was really strange being in the school after so long. Daddy and Uncle Todd got to watch all the kids at the Dreby’s house while the Moms went to Philly for a spa day. Must be nice.

june 17th - farewell to charlotte (458)

Today was Charlotte’s last day hanging out with the kids and they are going to miss her so much. She brought a picnic for the kids to hang outside…while Gemma worked on her back bends. School year is close to being over and it seems crazy hose fast it came and went….

june 16th - return to rats (457)

It’s Wednesday again and we are back at Rats for a beautiful day by the pond. Alex and Gemma really loved exploring the surrounding gardens and Gemma loved the sculptures. Gem introduced Alex to the love of her life…profiteroles.

Alex and Daddy went down to Philly tonight with Mark and Brayden for game 5 of the series. Sixers somehow blew a 25 point lead. Horrible.

june 15th - daddy time (456)

Mommy officially joined back with the human race today and took a train to NYC. She now has to remove all clothing at the front door when she gets home. Daddy and the kids walked over to The Meeting House for dinner and some fun. For some reason, the service sucked the big one, so they tried to get back in our good graces using cookies. It worked.

june 14th - lucy’s new wheels (455)

Lucy’s friend Caroline from down the street gave her a bike that she outgrew today. She LOVES it!  She is so proud riding all around the block on her own bike. Pictures of our lake renovations hit social media advertising today. Successful job marketing the pea gravel no one can order.

june 13th - cp pool (454)

It feels like so long ago that we were at the community pool. No longer full-time members but we were able to get a day pass to go enjoy the pools. The kids must have gone back and forth between the main pool and kiddie pool 100 times. Unfortunately, the snack bar was not open, which was cause for disappointment all around. Mommy made a shotgun run back home to being food and beers. #winning
