february 28th - nap time (349)

Not a care in the world for this one once she gets in the car.  Man, I wish I could just close my eyes and arrive at my destination.....living the dream.

february 27th - black diamonds (348)

The weather was abnormally warm and we were not sure we would be getting in this day of skiing.  It took us a while to convince Mommy to get out of the car, but we are really glad we did.  Eventually, the sun came out and the conditions were not too shabby.  By the end of the day, Alex and Gemma were skiing there north face and down some black diamonds....they were so proud.  Mommy got to take Alex down some challenging runs, and Daddy convinced Gemma that she could do it too.

february 26th - driving north (347)

We got a late start making our way up this evening, but we did get treated to an amazing sunset.  Just in time for a fire and some relaxation while Doctor Lucy gave us all checkups.

february 25th - shopper in training (346)

Thursdays are gymnastic days, followed by trips to Costco for Mommy and Gemma.  Never know what the two of them will come home with at the end of the night.  This evening's score were two paddle boards for the lake.  The excitement among the two of them is contagious.  Gemma can't wait for Daddy to buy a truck so they can "buy more stuff."

february 24th - the cuteness does NOT stop (345)

february 23rd - this one... (344)

february 22nd - our ballerina (343)

Lucy gave us quite a performance tonight.  She gets herself dressed in her dance outfits, stretches out beforehand, and then dances her heart out.

february 21st - until next weekend (342)

Princeton bound this morning to get ready for another week of school and working for the man.  Mommy napped, the kids played, Daddy drove.  Daddy's ski helmet finally came in...fits....just needs some breaking in.

february 20th - next stop olympics (341)

Great day of skiing at Montage today with some perfect weather.  We ran into Todd and Linda at some point and then ended up getting a couple tables for drinks and getting the kids refueled.  Things are really starting to click for Alex and Gemma who are now very good at turning and using the whole mountain.  Very proud parents!  Lucy still the fastest of the bunch, as she just points her skis downhill and doesn't look back.

february 19th - let us ski (340)

Back up to the lake this evening to get ready for another ski weekend.  Gramps and Grandma met us up at our house so they can join us tomorrow at Montage.  We introduced Alex and Gemma to Pit, and they are already in love with the game.  They still have not won a hand yet, which is just fueling the fire.

february 18th - memory (339)

Mommy had a late meeting today, so Lucy decided to keep herself occupied with a little re-decorating.  She does not quite grasp the concept of how to playing Memory Matching, but she does a fine job of laying out the cards.

february 17th - blue (338)

Grandmom Burger came today for a visit with some blue cupcakes....somehow blue icing is highly invasive.  Lucy's absolute favorite color and she loves turning body parts blue.

february 16th - movie buds (337)

february 15th - locked in (336)

We signed some documents with our contractor this morning to begin the process of lakefront revitalization.  Our neighbor Stevie Goldin is gonna be quite a treat once he hears we put the wheels in motion on "operation property take back."  Back to Princeton in the afternoon in time for popcorn and family movie night.
