october 30th - descendants awareness (228)

We had a fun night with the Dreby clan, who went above and beyond dressing for the occasion tonight at our house. They were all characters from the descendants movies, which our kids have just been immersed in...little did we know then, that our lives would be consumed by the descendants for months to come.

october 29th - hat day (227)

Funny hat day brought back a special moment for Alex, getting to wear his Donald Duck hat. We had to tell him the story about when he got it in Disney World and he then proceeded to quack the entire day. Gem had LOTS of fun tonight at gymnastics.

october 28th - festivities (226)

Alex got his costume today so he gave it a try on to get a picture with Lucy. Since there won’t be any official halloween celebrations at school Gemma’s soccer team encouraged all the kids to come dressed up for a little extra fun.

october 27th - spirit day (225)

Kids had spirit day and they could hardly contain their enthusiasm while pretending to represent the awful Eagles squad this year. Truly embarrassing the performance so far.

october 26th - big girl bed phase one (224)

Lucy got the front of her crib removed and she is feeling very mature. It is missing a screw and she reminds Daddy about every 2-3 minutes that it needs to be fixed.

october 25th - spooky preparations (223)

Chocolate chip pancakes to start the day always ends with smiles...mostly. Mommy picked up some giant pumpkins from Costco today so we had to give then some faces. Alex had a Nike swoosh, Lucy was pretty standard, but Gemma took it up a notch with her cactus. Gem also does much better ripping out the guts than the other kids. No fear.

october 24th - soccer time (222)

We just finished talking about how many deer there are in the area and how we could stand to lose a few while we sat by the fire last night. This morning, we woke up and there were giant deer standing right in our side yard. Definitely too many. Gemma had a soccer tournament in North Jersey so we all went up to cheer her on....she did really great and all the girls had a great time. Plenty of goals and missed hi-fives:)
