march 31st - future burgers (16)

Miss Sampson took some pictures of the kids today on the Snapchat app to show them what they are going to look like when this coronavirus lockdown ends. Lucy got a postcard from her teacher, Nick, today that got her very excited. Lots of snacks, sibling cuddles, and craftiness.

march 30th - the internet is a great place (15)

Lacking photos of the kids today for some reason, so a nice collage of great internet memes seemed like a good placeholder...what. a. shit. show.

march 29th - development opportunities (14)

Mommy and Lucy were sporty twinzies today. She’s getting so big.  Having this time with her is so awesome. Mommy learned how to make crepes this afternoon. Top ratings from the kids with nutella all over their faces.

march 28th - mom of the year (13)

Mommy was up early this morning tracking down a bike for Alex’s birthday. She wasn’t so much up, as she was just texting from bed, but she managed to connect with the owner of the local bike shop. She arranged it so we could bring Alex by and pick out a bike. We took him on a surprise car ride to the store and he got to go up to the closed shop to see the bikes shown in the window. He picked out the black one. Alex was so excited!  He had the biggest smile on his face for hours and even made Mommy a thank you card.

We had some “thinker” poses, afternoon chill time, Lucy on the drums, Gemma on the dance floor, make your own pizzas, Gemma learned to sew a pillow, and a Zoom night-in with the Drebys. A pretty full life for living in a bubble.

march 27th - daydreaming (12)

Today was a beautiful day, which made for a lot of really great pictures. Daddy went for a long run around Princeton (only saw one human) and the town is beautiful right now. It’s a shame that no one is really out enjoying it. Beeps stopped by to drop off a meatloaf and we gave some air hugs while we played outside. Since we are missing out on a trip to Mexico, Daddy and Alex made a beach out of chalk in the driveway. Pretty much the same if you drink enough beer and play the Bob Marley loud enough...also helps if you’re blind.

march 26th - living (11)

Fort building, book reading, bead construction, bike riding, playing in the driveway fort, Gemma hustling Alex in cards....staying at home is fun. Mommy even had wine night via Zoom this evening. Life is totally normal. Lucy is living her best life right now.

march 25th - face paint (10)

The kids got some morning tattoos to make them look tough at home-school. Alex is a proud brother now that he is able to hold Lucy on his shoulders. He regrets it pretty quickly once she decided to use his hair as a steering wheel.
