Lucy woke up at the crack of dawn this morning so she and Mommy got out of the house and walked on the beach. A bit of bonding time while the rest of the world stayed in bed and got some rest. The weather was a bit lackluster today, so we spent most of the day by the pool and inside playing minute-to-win-it games that Mommy and Shannon planned out. Mommy did get involved in the “oreo on the forehead that you have to transfer with no hands to your mouth” game. Cookies involved so Mommy won, of course.
The sun peaked out in the early evening so we set out on an adventure down to Kill Devil Hills to get some dinner with the Stewarts. We went to a great place on the water that Lucy loved...cornbread ❤️. Night swimming back at the house and Mommy got challenged again on the oreo cookie game. Victorious and still the reigning champion.
