Mommy and Daddy cut out of work early to take the kids down to the boardwalk in Point Pleasant. Lucy’s first time on the beach to touch the sand and the ocean. Alex and Gemma would have stayed forever and played in the waves. We went on lots of cool rides...and Gemma was so brave. She would stand on her tippy toes when they measured her so she could go on the big ones. She and Alex had tons of fun, but both disliked the ride known as Moby Dick. Looks of terror. Mommy giggled uncontrollably.
We played some games on the boardwalk too, which was really cheap! Mommy won Lucy a pig in a game that Daddy was throwing on purpose so the kids could win...no mercy apparently. Daddy won Alex a giraffe in basketball and both of the kids won themselves some items throwing darts. Gemma almost killed a guy with her first two but landed dart #3. Alex was awesome and hit three in a row.
